Your association receives units for its members at no upfront cost. Members retire the cost through daily use, and each unit becomes theirs outright. Nobody has to be asked for money first.

Deployed · you paid ₦0Cost retired · ownership transfers

Deployment cost is retired by daily engagement, not by an invoice. Month 4 is the baseline, not a promise — it assumes sustained daily use across the cohort, and we will show you the sensitivity before you sign anything. If engagement runs lower, retirement takes longer. That risk sits with us, which is why we care so much about the onboarding.

The mechanism

What zero down actually means here

The group is not asked to fund anything

No levy, no collection, no deposit. That is usually the hardest part of any group scheme, and it is removed.

Each member registers individually

One unit, one named member. That is what makes cost retirement work and keeps the group out of any liability.

Daily use retires the cost

Members earn rewards by using their units. That engagement services the deployment cost, not the group's funds.

Each member owns their unit

On retirement, the unit belongs to the member holding it. The association holds no asset and no debt.

Written for association and cooperative leaders

This is not for everyone.

Read both columns before you apply. The second one saves us both a call.

This fits if

  • Your group has 200 or more members you can reach in person
  • You have an existing meeting rhythm — monthly or better
  • Members can be individually named and registered
  • You have someone who can coordinate a handover day

This does not fit if

  • Membership is informal and cannot be listed
  • You want units for resale rather than for members
  • The group cannot host a registration and handover session
Sequence

How a group deployment runs

  1. We agree the member list

Named members, counted. This sets the deployment size.

  2. One handover session

Units distributed and registered in the same sitting. Usually half a day.

  3. Members use them daily

Charging phones, lighting study and work after dark, earning rewards.

  4. Units become members' property

Once the cost is retired, each unit is owned outright by the member holding it.

What is included

Everything you get,
against what we ask.

Questions

What you are probably thinking.

Is the association liable if a member stops using their unit?

No. The agreement is between SOLAPS and each member individually. The association facilitates; it does not guarantee.

What if a member leaves the group?

Their unit and their agreement stay with them. Group membership is not a condition of use.

How long does a handover session take?

Roughly half a day for 200 to 400 members, with our team running registration.

Can members sell their units afterwards?

Once ownership transfers, the unit is theirs. We would rather they kept it, but it is their property.
